My desktop died and ever since I have not played DayZ. I am playing on a crappy PC right now, so I jumped onto Uthgard a free DAoC shard. Currently releveling toons on Midgard hardcore style. Tough as hell when you don't have a 50 and buffbotting/dual logging is forbidden and gets you a ban. I do like that it is only old frontiers though.

Every now and then I jump in World of Tanks, but without a high end system it isn't the same.

You need any specific parts to get your desktop going?
I could look into getting you something better that's sitting around collecting dust at the office (e.g. we have some desktop motherboards with LGA 1155 and Core i7 cpus). Not sure how bad your repair job is though!

Uthgard is promising and I was buff botting on there for a few days before I finally read their warning message and promptly stopped lol. I agree, it is eye opening at how tough leveling is when you don't have crafters, buff bots, friends etc...
Then I forgot about it for a while and my characters got deleted and I gave up.

I've been tempted too. But I only recently upgraded my video card and I have yet to experience all of the BF3 content yet. Figured I'd stick with that so I can try to become king of the scrubs while everyone moves on to BF4.

You've been busy!

I spent several hours getting to level 5 when I first started a toon on Uthgard. I forgot about level 5. Magical, exciting level 5 when you can actually choose your class. The waves of nostalgia poured in! I'll see about getting DAoC going at home again. Can't hurt to putz around a bit.

P.S. Full disclosure - I bought BF4. Couple high school friends came to me asking if I was going to get it. I said no. They responded with "we bought it". So I did too. # of times I've played with them = .5 (only 1 of them has played it so far). Anyway just wanted to get that out there.

Well, I never signed up as a Founder for CU, but I am going to grab the Builder's Booty and I Am The Warrior packages tomorrow.

Uthgard (DAoC) relived ran its course about 6 months ago, SWToR has also lost its luster and I am ready for something new.

Is anyone else going to check out CU?

I backed CU in 2013 I think it was, while I was still avidly playing WoW, but hardly play anything anymore except maybe a small bit of diablo3 here and there if I'm bored. Just don't feel like giving much time to games anymore
